Why Family is the MOST Important "Church" They'll Ever Attend (July 26 Topic) - The presentation considers the essential functions of communities of faith and how they can be reconfigured to happen within the family to live out faith at home.
Kathleen Fischer, longtime Dallas resident and mother of three, is a registered nurse with a master's degree. Her area of interest is adolescent social, emotional, sexual and relational development. In a career spanning more than forty years, she has worked in public health settings, taught in public schools and at the university level, and has authored many books on adolescent development. She combines her passion for the adolescent development with observation and research on families and kids to create her very special coaching niche. Parents benefit from her coaching expertise.

WPPK Bible Presentation Sunday, April 24
This special family friendly, hands-on worship service includes the presentation of Bibles to graduating Kindergarteners.
Following worship there will be a hot dog picnic lunch.
Families, friends and neighbors are all invited to join us for this non-traditional service.

Rally Day - Sunday, Sept. 13 at 9:30 am
Join us for breakfast in Fellowship Hall to learn about the upcoming classes and opportunities at WPC this fall.
After breakfast fellowship, children and youth will dismiss to their new classrooms.
Children under two years will be cared for in the nursery.
Children ages 2 through 5 years will meet in 201.
Children in 1st grade through 5th grade will meet in 202.
-Using We Believe Presbyterian curriculum
Jr. & Sr. high will go to Starbucks for Sunday at Starbucks using the Wired Word curriculum.
Adults will hear an overview of the adult offering for the fall.
During worship, children entering 3rd grade will receive Bibles and teachers will be commissioned for the coming year.
